I am in the process of researching the career of Cannonball Bill Jackman.  To date I have recovered 360 partial or complete pitching boxscores which show 205 wins and 93 losses.  40 home runs as a batter have also been recovered. While I estimate the upper limits of his numbers could be 1,500 pitched games, 800 wins and 150 home runs, I hope and expect to document at least 500 pitching wins.

Jackman's career reportedly spanned 1918 to 1953.  I have located data from 1924-1951.

I have written an article on Jackman that will appear in the next edition of SABR's The National Pastime.  I hope eventually to publish a full biography.
